Following this should enable companies to halve the amount of time they spend on SRI/ESG communications and double their reach and effectiveness.
Companies will typically be expected to engage in three investor-related activities:
- Reports
- Questionnaires
- Ad hoc information requests and company-specific engagements
- Direct meetings (roadshows)
Based on our investor expectations scoring system, we recommend that companies with:
- 8+ points are highly-proactive in their engagement with investors
- 6 - 7 points are proactive in their engagement
- 3 – 5 points are reactive
